How I’d serve

Board service should be stewardship, not status.

I would approach the role the same way I approach difficult transformation work: understand the facts, listen to the people affected, make a decision, assign ownership, and close the loop.

01

Preserve what works

There are people, services and practices in this building that deserve recognition and protection.

02

Ask better questions

Good governance often starts with asking for the data, assumptions, costs and alternatives behind a recommendation.

03

Represent, don’t perform

I want to surface resident perspectives, not turn every disagreement into theater.

04

Measure follow-through

If an issue is raised, someone should know who owns the next step and whether it was resolved.

05

Communicate clearly

Residents should understand major projects, decisions and service expectations without needing insider context.

06

Keep listening

This site is designed to remain useful after the election, not disappear the morning after it.

The loop

Listen → prioritize → act → report back.

That is the operating model I want residents to experience when they raise an issue, whether the answer is yes, no, not now, or here is what we need to learn first.
